Floor buffer working across richly stained golden oak flooring

What we do

A narrow trade,
done completely.

We only do wood floors — and we do every part of them ourselves, from the subfloor up to the final coat.

01 — Installation

New floors, laid to last.

Solid hardwood and reclaimed heart pine, nailed down over a subfloor we deck, level and prep ourselves — so the floor stays flat and quiet for generations.

  • Oak, maple, walnut, reclaimed & antique heart pine
  • Straight-lay, wide-plank, herringbone & custom parquet
  • Subfloor decking, leveling & moisture prep
  • Thresholds, transitions, borders & inlay

02 — Refinishing

Old floors, made new again.

Sand-and-refinish that takes a tired floor back to bare wood and returns it better than the day it went down — flat, even, and glowing.

  • Multi-grit sanding with drum machine & edger
  • Hand-troweled grain fill & gap work
  • Feathered board replacement & dutchman repairs
  • Screen-and-recoat to refresh floors not ready for a full sand

03 — Color & finish

Two finishes. Your call.

We walk you through the trade-offs and lay real samples on your floor before a drop of finish is committed.

Hardwax Oil — “Monocoat”

A penetrating hardwax oil (such as Rubio Monocoat) that colors and seals in one pass. Natural, low-sheen, and beautifully tactile — and because it lives in the wood rather than on it, worn spots can be repaired without resanding the whole room.

  • · Matte, natural look that shows the grain
  • · Low odor, low VOC
  • · Spot-repairable, easy to live with

Polyurethane

A built film finish — oil- or water-based — that lays a hard, protective shell over the wood. The traditional choice for high-traffic floors and anyone who wants a fuller sheen and maximum surface durability.

  • · Satin, semi-gloss or gloss sheens
  • · Hard, water-resistant surface
  • · Time-tested toughness

Stain samples, on your floor, in your light — because color reads differently on every board.
